About Dr. Tariq Al Fadda

Dr. Tariq Al Fadda is a board-certified pediatric surgeon with over two decades of experience in the specialized care of infants, children, and adolescents. He is committed to providing safe, compassionate, and evidence-based surgical care for a wide range of conditions — from common issues like hernias to complex congenital anomalies and pediatric tumors.
Education and Training
Dr. Al Fadda graduated from King Saud University College of Medicine in 2000 and completed his internship in 2001. He trained in general surgery at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSHRC), where he earned both the Saudi Board and Arab Board in General Surgery by 2006.
He then pursued advanced training in pediatric surgery at KFSHRC, completing the Saudi Fellowship in Pediatric Surgery in 2009.
To further deepen his expertise, Dr. Al Fadda spent two years conducting basic science research at Yale University Medical School, followed by two years of general surgery training at Westchester Medical Center / New York Medical College. He later completed a prestigious fellowship in pediatric surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Al Fadda is actively involved in research. His focus includes basic, translational, and clinical research related to pediatric surgery. He is especially interested in developing non-animal model systems due to facility constraints, with a focus on molecular biology and collaborative translational research.
